We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in a hotel setting. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping and mopping
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation when necessary, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning practices.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement effective cleaning protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques is beneficial.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting, and moving items as necessary.
