Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Sanitize surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Conduct floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Assist with commercial cleaning tasks as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in commercial settings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
- Experience in cooking is a plus but not required.
