Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic and prepared to work at a best in class hotel! Housekeeping/Cleaning Skills/Essential Functions: 1. Cleaning guest rooms thoroughly including: bed-making-changing sheets and duvets, vacuuming floors and carpets, mopping floors, dusting and wiping walls and ceilings, stocking supplies, cleaning mirrors and windows, cleaning phones, cleaning furniture, cleaning refrigerator/microwave/coffee maker 2. Clean rooms within allotted time 3. Clean outside breezeways in front of room and common areas as assigned 4. Use chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly 5. Stock and maintain housekeeping cart and linen storage room 6. Be careful with hotel property including breezeways, doors, walls and equipment 7. Perform other duties as requested; perform other cleaning as requested 8. Clean guest bathrooms thoroughly including: floors, vanity, bathtub, change shower curtain, stocking supplies, toilet, towels, vents and other equipment in rooms as requested. 9. Document maintenance issues immediately and notify supervisor Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings are required. Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with Company rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel facilities. Associates who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
