MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting Housemen and Supervisors in servicing/cleaning Public Areas, Restrooms and Offices as assigned and coordinated by a Manager.
- Completes daily and general cleaning schedules to the standard established by El Encanto Housekeeping.
- Daily cleaning of walkways common areas as directed.
- Completes any guest request up to standard promptly upon receipt. Verifies completion to a Supervisor/ or Office coordinator.
- Completes all assigned tasks in accordance with all safety procedures as defined by El Encanto.
- Reports and hands in all Lost and Found items according to the Lost and Found procedure established by El Encanto.
- Maintains neat appearance of Housekeeping storages and equipment on a daily base.
- Takes responsibility for stocking housekeeping carts, linen and supply rooms neat and orderly at all times.
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Reports all maintenance concerns to a Supervisor or Office coordinator.
- Completes all assigned tasks in accordance with all safety procedures as defined by El Encanto.
- Reports and hands in all Lost and Found items according to the Lost and Found procedure established by El Encanto.
- Follows key handling procedure set by El Encanto.
- Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
- Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.
- Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
- Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
- Demonstrate and be a role model of Belmond’s core values of Care, Confidence, Curiosity and Community.
- Assist in any other related duties as required.
