The Cliff House at Pikes Peak is hiring a Turn Down Attendant. This is a perfect position to get your foot in the door for the hospitality industry. Experience isn't required but appreciated.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: Preparing guests rooms for the evening such as making and turning down bed, replacing used linen and dishes, emptying trash, delivering the Cliff House Newsletters, ice and chocolates to our guests. Public Restrooms and Laundry tasks are also required as well as some housekeeping. The position is a minimum of 16 hours a week. Shifts are in the evenings. Potential for full time.
Physical Requirements for Position:
- Firm and simple grasping is required for all aspect of work
- Reaching above shoulder up to 80% of the time and may be combined with other activities such as pulling, pushing and bending.
- Pushing and pulling actions are required more than 60% of the time for moving supply carts etc.
- Lifting of supplies (linen, cleaning supplies, etc) occurs on a regular basis, normally not more than 25 pounds. Workers may have to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
- Crawling is required on occasion, along with climbing stairs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.25 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
