Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Houseperson to support our housekeeping team and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be a team player, and be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms and storage areas
- Clean and maintain public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces
- Remove trash, clean spills, and respond promptly to housekeeping requests
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Restock supplies in housekeeping closets and carts
- Help with deep cleaning projects and room setups as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, helpful attitude
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or evening shifts if needed
