Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and presentable.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established housekeeping protocols and standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
- Proficient in various cleaning techniques and equipment usage, including floor care methods.
- Experience in housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is a plus.
- Knowledge of custodial practices specific to hotel environments is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
