HR Assistant Position Summary:
Chetu is looking for a full-time, Human Resource Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for day-to-day HR operations, completing the employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, processing HR documents, employee engagement, assistance with compliance and employee event coordination. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a strong attention to detail, good communicator and is able to handle confidential information with discretion while delivering excellent internal customer service.
Compensation Structure:
- Compensation packages start from $47K-$55K annually based on candidate’s background and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Supporting HR related training programs, workshops and seminars
- Completing New Hire orientations, including employee documents
- Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
- Coordinating HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Keep updated on the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Entering and Maintaining employee data into computer database
- Employee engagement
- Complies with Company policies and federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Self-motivated with a superior work ethic
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR role
- Minimum Education: Associates Degree
- Experience using Paycom or other HRI systems
