Position: HR Generalist – People Operations
Are you a versatile, proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment? As an HR Generalist at FFA, you’ll play a central role in shaping and scaling our people operations. From owning bi-monthly payroll to strengthening our onboarding experience, employee engagement, compliance, and culture, you’ll be a trusted partner across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Ownership & HRIS Management
- Own and execute bi-monthly payroll processing accurately and on time in collaboration with Finance and external vendors
- Manage payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
- Maintain employee data and updates within our HRIS platform and ensure data integrity
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Support end-to-end recruiting: post job ads, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers
- Support the delivery of a seamless, branded onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success
- Monitor new hire feedback and recommend improvements to onboarding processes
Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, providing timely and thoughtful HR guidance
- Support investigations, document incidents, and conflict resolution under guidance of senior HR staff and leadership
- Promote a culture of inclusion, accountability, and engagement
Culture, Engagement & Internal Comms
- Support internal communication efforts, helping keep employees connected, informed, and inspired
- Collaborate on employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and company culture activities
- Support planning and execution of employee events and initiatives
General HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files
- Help implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, changes, and resolving employee questions
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of HR systems, documentation, and workflows
- Use HR data and analytics to track trends, create reports, and support data-driven decisions
Startup Mindset & Flexibility
- Jump in where needed to support a lean, collaborative HR team
- Assist with performance management, learning & development initiatives, and special projects
- Be adaptable, resourceful, and proactive in solving problems and building scalable processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2–4 years of HR experience; generalist experience preferred
- Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto, Rippling, Greenhouse)
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, employment law, and HR operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize across multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Background in HR data analytics and reporting is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support team and clinic locations

Pay: $70,070.00 - $85,482.00 per year
