General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Teaching rigorous curriculum in a high-quality and exciting way- Thriving as part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture and implementing school-wide policies within classrooms and throughout the campus
- Committing to constant professional growth through feedback, coaching, and professional development
- Using student achievement data to set ambitious academic goals for students
- Constantly assessing student progress, and communicating results to families and colleagues
- Providing individual or small group instruction for students who need additional assistance
- Committing to tutoring, after school activities, and being a part of the larger school community
Qualified candidates have:
Bachelor’s Degree required (relevant fields include education, math, science, interdisciplinary studies)- At least two years of working with youth
- Ability to further education to become licensed in the state of North Carolina - Required acceptance to EPP Program
