Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth HR operations. This position is responsible for facilitating recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and assisting with benefits administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of human resources management principles.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all required paperwork is completed
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Manager
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
- Support employee relations activities, including investigating and resolving employee complaints
- Assist with performance management processes, including conducting employee evaluations and providing feedback
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees
- Assist with workforce management activities, including scheduling and timekeeping
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Skills
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems- Paylocity preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
