Primary Responsibilities
- Plant and manage crops that are seasonly planted for wildlife management
- Run the gamekeeper operation including: bird pen maintenance, overall care of birds, inventory, ordering and scheduling delivery of game birds and feed
- Upland hunt field preparation including choosing appropriate hunting area and types of game birds to be released to meet up with customers expectations.
- Perform some groundskeeping and building maintenance duties.
- Bush hogging and agricultural maintenance of hunting grounds
- Perform repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping and other business operations to maximize reliability
Requirements
- A passion for agriculture.
- Avid upland hunter preferred
- Knowledge of gamekeeping
- Must have a FOID card or be able to attain
- Proven experience as Mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
- Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
