As an Outfitter, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their outdoor needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations for outdoor gear and equipment.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer knowledge and satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is displayed effectively.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed about the latest products, trends, and best practices in the outdoor industry.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- A passion for outdoor activities and knowledge of relevant products is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required for stocking and displays.
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to pass back ground check
