Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring that each guest enjoys their experience at our café.
Duties
- Serve ice cream, toppings, and other menu items to customers with a smile.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scooping area and dining space.
- Handle food safely and adhere to food handling guidelines.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all items are stocked and ready for service.
- Process customer transactions accurately using basic math skills for retail math applications.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items.
- Buss tables to maintain a tidy environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing sales.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts and an interest in food preparation is a plus.
- Must be able to follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling.
