In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each customer has a delightful experience. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Scoop and serve ice cream in a variety of flavors and styles.
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Assist with food preparation and stocking supplies as needed.
- Buss tables and clean up after customers to maintain a tidy environment.
- Engage with customers to answer questions about menu items and suggest options.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred, particularly in retail or food service environments such as grocery stores, cafés, or restaurants.
- Familiarity with cash registers and basic retail math skills are beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
