Position: Front Counter Server
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming smile as they enter the shop.
- Take customer orders for burgers, ice creams, beverages, and other menu items with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Efficiently process payments through the POS system, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assemble and prepare ice cream treats according to Lana's signature recipes.
- Ensure all orders are served promptly and with consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter area, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting space for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Communicate and coordinate with kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Uphold Lana's standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required. We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills to handle busy periods and ensure efficient service.
- A passion for food and dedication to providing a positive dining experience for every customer.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to create a cohesive and pleasant work environment.
