We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import/Export Agent to join our dynamic logistics team in Logan, Utah.
ROLE COMMITMENTS
- Statement of Account reviews monthly - all providers to ensure invoices are processing and funded on time. (this will force oversight and management of external partners execution)
- Execute Airfreight within 48 hours of receiving requests
- Support Inbound Freight Budget at $3938 per container with reporting functions (Cash Out Reports, Duplicate invoices checks, Assist Freight verification for Customs Valuation, Tooling Payment Validation, Container vs Non Container Spend Reporting)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Freight Coordination:
- Book and schedule regional truck shipments and air freight to move inventory between DCs and from vendors as needed.
- Track inbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively manage any delays or disruptions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external freight partners to align on timelines, service levels, and requirements.
- Freight Billing & Auditing:
- Review and audit freight invoices in partnership with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight audit partners.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure all charges are accurate and appropriately coded.
- Make sure all invoices are processed timely to meet the needs of our freight terms
- Logistics Administration:
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
- Generate and analyze reports on freight costs, service levels, and carrier performance.
- Support the logistics team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Education and Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight administration (2+ years preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and billing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP or TMS systems is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
