Job Overview
As an In Home Caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while promoting independence. This is not an agency and not paid cash. The job is located in Maryville, TN. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to an individual in his homes. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for the client.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist the client with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Engage the client in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Experience
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right individuals. Candidates must be 18 or older, have a valid driver license and car insurance, and be able to pass a background check / drug test.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
