We are looking for a Inline Inspector II to join our Chattanooga Team. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
- Inspect product per specifications using specified measuring equipment
- Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation (product drawings, work procedures, process logs, etc.)
- Have some computer proficiency with a willingness to learn computer systems required to perform job responsibilities
- Work with engineering to generate clear and concise work instructions, test methods, and visual standards
- Be able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities
- Demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to effectively execute tasks independently
- Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP): line clearance, work instructions, documentation, etc.
- Work with and train other skilled technicians/operators in the inspection methods and required documentation
- Communicate issues to engineering for collaborative continuous improvement
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have ability to modify work shift as needed by business conditions
- Perform other duties as required
Education, Experience and Requirements
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two-years related experience
- Extremely hands on with some mechanical aptitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, team player
- Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected
