As an Inbound Business Development Representative (IB BDR) at CHEQ you will play a key role as we expand our fast-growing US business.
You will report into our Sr. Director of Demand Gen and will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to qualify and target marketing-sourced leads, contacts, and accounts.
This will be done by serving as the first point of contact for prospects from digital and in-person marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify a high volume of leads from marketing-generated campaigns and incoming phone and web inquiries to hand-off to the Sales Account Executive for further follow-up
- Research accounts prior to first contact to understand the prospect needs and educate the prospect on the huge problem that CHEQ’s platform can solve
- Nurture, educate and qualify inbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities via phone and email, social selling, etc
- Perform calling targeting closed-lost and leads that have gone cold after initial marketing campaigns
- Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects
- Responsible for meeting IB BDR metrics and assigned goals
- Responsible for managing leads through a defined process
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of lead qualification/business development experience within a technology company, in support of providing marketing qualified leads to the sales organization
- Experience in calling targeting multiple-level contacts including executive management
- Experience selling to Director+
- Excellent lead follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads from marketing-generated campaigns and incoming phone and web inquiries
- Experience in prospecting, nurturing, educating, and qualifying target prospects to create sales-ready opportunities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skills
- Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate products highlighting benefits/advantages/features
- Self-starter, with high-energy, positive phone presence
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment that requires in-office teamwork at least 3 days a week
The base pay range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
This position is currently eligible for a bonus component based on specified benchmarks, in accordance with all applicable bonus terms and conditions.
