Position Summary:
Footsteps Preschool is seeking a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development, a passion for working with young children, and the ability to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for toddlers aged 18 months to 36 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Observe and document each child’s developmental milestones and progress
- Establish positive and responsive relationships with toddlers and their families
- Support children in daily routines such as diapering, toilet training, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Communicate effectively with parents through daily reports, conferences, and informal interactions
- Collaborate with co-teachers and center staff to maintain consistency and high-quality care
- Follow all licensing regulations and school policies to ensure children's health and safety
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
