Engage with children daily fostering physical, emotional, social, motor, language and cognitive development
- Greet and interact with children, staff, and families in a positive manner
- Accept children’s feelings; encourage growth and independence
- Assist in planning and implementing the daily program with Co-Teacher
- Assist the Lead Teacher in any way necessary to promote the health, safety and development of children
- Take daily attendance as children arrive and depart, always know your count
- Participate in recommended training programs, courses and other aspects of professional growth
- Participate in appropriate parent involvement programs, and home visits if needed
- Ensure classroom is in compliance at all times ODJFS, SUTQ, CACFP and HKCL)
- Perform general housekeeping tasks ensuring room is cleaned daily
- Attend all staff meetings
- Additional duties as assigned

Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
