Summary
We are seeking a passionate Infant/ToddlerTeacher to join our team at Kid's University in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children, fostering their development and love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood learning.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those in special education.
- Supervise daily activities, ensuring the health and safety of all children in your care.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma; prefer Associate's, Bachelor's or CDA but NOT REQUIRED
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential but we are willing to train those with little to no experience
- Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the community.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
