Responsibilities:
-Must be organized and detail oriented.
-Administer and track vaccinations.
-Report required information to appropriate organizations.
-Perform COVID testing, track and report.
-Monitor antibiotic usage.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Review and document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments
- Collect and analyze patient data for research and quality improvement purposes
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong data management skills for documentation review and analysis
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and infection control protocols
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of epidemiology and microbiology principles
