Work You'll Do:

The Information Assurance Analyst will analyze general information assurance-related technical problems and provides recommendations and technical support in solving these problems. In addition, they will assess and support implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements; perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle; and perform duties associated with development and review of RMF packages.

It keeps the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and gives stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Includes design of the cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active TS/SCI required.
  • Must be local to the Hampton Roads, VA area and able to come onsite in Suffolk, VA for 5 days a week. 
  • Must have 1 of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ (SEC+CE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CAP), EC-Council Network Security Administrator Certification (ENSA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) – Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), Certified Information system Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience performing cybersecurity functions required. 
  • 5+ years with the following experience is required: 
    • Experience in managing Risk Management Framework (RMF) portfolios
    • Experience in guiding RMF packages from initiation to approval, POA&M development, or eMASS package preparation
