HRI Hospital
is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. The Information Technology Manager (ITM) is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of all computer hardware, software and LAN/WAN components and telecommunications within the System. The ITM provides leadership and guidance regarding all computerized data systems. The ITM is responsible for providing strategic vision to the facility as to the direction of technology and industry applications. The ITM will recommend solutions for optimizing existing systems and research options on systems to meet changing hospital, regulatory and technological needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of all hardware and software systems within the System. Installs upgrades as needed ensuring system network is secure
  • Maintain and update user E-mail accounts
  • Responds to all users with hardware or software issues
  • Assess network efficiency, evaluate current and future needs and develop solutions for improvement
  • Maintains current hardware and software inventories, including software license information, physical location of equipment and equipment serial numbers. Maintains a tracking system which reflects all equipment and software purchases and well as retirement of PC equipment
  • Participate in the evaluation, planning and implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Configures PC’s for network access and facilitate use of network
  • Acts as the primary IS liaison with outside vendors and/or consultants as needed as well as the point person for disseminating relevant information to current employees

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience: 3 or more years of prior information technology management experienced required
  • Preferred Certifications: Microsoft MCSW, Network Administrator Certification
