We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team full-time. The ideal candidate will have strong IV therapy experience and will be responsible for administering infusion treatments, monitoring patient response, and ensuring safe and effective care in a professional medical setting.
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Monday through Friday
- No weekends or on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough pre-infusion assessments, including reviewing patient history, allergies, surgical background, and verifying insurance.
- Obtain and document baseline vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Calculate and verify medication dosages based on patient weight (converted to kilograms).
- Obtain signed informed consent prior to treatment.
- Establish and manage peripheral IV access using proper sterile technique.
- Prepare infusion medications by correctly diluting in appropriate IV fluids, following standard protocols.
- Initiate and manage IV infusions, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Continually monitor and record vital signs throughout the infusion.
- Safely discontinue IV access and accurately document the treatment.
- Schedule the patient’s next infusion in coordination with the physician’s orders.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
