Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Customer Associate, you will support the Industrial Team for Filtech Inc. You will have a specific focus in the oil & gas market segment.
You will work to support customer’s requirements, generate quotations, and process orders; with routine follow up to build customer relations, close sales, gain competitive information, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also serve as liaison between Filtech and our multiple fabrication partners.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Industrial Sales and Gas Market Sales Coordinator to optimize monthly transactional activities, such as order execution, price entry, follow up, part number generation, and private labeling concepts.
- Support Field and Inside Representatives with sales and systems related needs.
- Field incoming customer inquiry calls, gather relevant information, and go above and beyond to completely fulfill their request.
- Establish direct contact with a sub-set of smaller Filtech customers who can be serviced via Inside Sales to generate leads or sales.
- Build customer relationships and tirelessly promote Filtech and our technical expertise.
- Contribute in the development of different marketing strategies for customer outreach and acquisition.
Requirements:
- Sales: 1+ years (Preferred but not required)
- (Preferred but not required)
- Industry Experience: Selling to or working in oil & gas market, specifically midstream (Strongly preferred but not required)
- Understanding of local oil & gas companies, their processes, and their team members.
- Must possess a strong desire to listen, learn, and be coachable.
- Willing to go above and beyond to take care of the customer.
- Ability to work as a team player with a team first mentality.
- Aptitude to prioritize multiple tasks, focusing on the highest value deliverables first.
- A problem solver, with a willingness to think outside the box, who puts other’s needs ahead of his/her own.
- Good interpersonal skills, who gets along well with others and values building relationships with people.
- An understanding of Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to learn new computer programs and CRM’s; such as Profit 21.
- Associate or Bachelors (Strongly preferred but not required)
Development Opportunities:
This role provides an entry into the Filtech Inc. Industrial Sales team. Strong performance can lead to other opportunities within the team. It reports directly to the Direct of Industrial Sales. Successful candidates would be eligible to grow into future roles in Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.
