Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cosmetology techniques and a desire to educate and inspire future beauty professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering a range of cosmetology topics including hair styling, makeup application, aesthetics, and more
- Provide hands-on instruction to students in techniques such as hair coloring, facials, body waxing, and barbering
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and skill development
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure curriculum relevance
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Cosmetologist or in a related field
- Proficiency in various cosmetology techniques including hair threading, trigger point therapy, aesthetic treatments, and makeup application
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students
- Certification or license as a Cosmetologist or Cosmetology Instructor preferred
- Prior experience in lesson planning or curriculum development is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
