Job Summary
Garrett Eye is looking for a part-time medical insurance verification specialist to join our team in our Iron Mountain office. The insurance specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the appropriate healthcare services by verifying their eligibility for insurance coverage.
Candidate must be able to work in a very fast paced office setting. Attention to detail, good phone skills and patient interacting skills are a must. Duties include verifying eligibility of patient insurance—calculating patient copays and deductibles prior to procedure/surgeries. Experience working with health insurance verification preferred.
