About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Tax & Tax Planner to join our Tax team. In this role, you will work on complex tax structuring and transactions, research technical issues related to our business and international expansion, create and/or maintain sophisticated tax models, and also help to drive automation and systems efficiencies across the Tax team. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong quantitative skills, and a proven track record in tax planning and modeling.  You will work cross-functionally across the organization and solve complex problems on a regular basis. Responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of Tax on all international tax and tax planning and implementation matters
• Partner closely with Tax team and cross-functional partners to develop and implement tax-efficient structures for complex transactions
• Research complex tax issues and prepare technical documentation, including matters related to our international expansion
• Create and/or maintain complex tax models
• Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation
• Drive automation and systems efficiencies across the Tax team
• Manage external advisors and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax input throughout the planning lifecycle

You may be a good fit if you have:

• 12+ years of relevant experience
• JD, Master’s in Tax, or CPA
• Deep technical expertise
• Strong Excel and modeling skills
• Cross-functional project management skills and the ability to work independently, multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• The ability to quickly understand and integrate business objectives with tax strategies, and effectively communicate tax requirements, in a rapidly-scaling environment
• Proficiency with tax software and automation

The expected salary range for this position is:

Logistics

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
