We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Wealth team at Mercer. This role will be based in the Boston office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is a position based on growth with significant additional growth expected. It will have oversight and coordination of over 2,500 invoices per year with expectation of more. This position use and extract data from different systems to prepare invoices and reports on invoice status. Will also ensure high work quality and accuracy, and oversee the maintenance and collection of appropriate information required for client billing.
We will count on you to:
Supervise billing team
Review invoices prepared by billing staff
Prepare certain invoices quarterly
Delegate assignments and projects to staff
Enhance/establish billing policies, procedures and controls
Work with Controllership and Finance Departments to coordinate sharing of billing information
Coordinate billable and non-billable asset information including adjustments into the system
Coordinate unique identifier codes with supplier department to ensure proper general ledger posting
Create and distribute billing reports to management
Assist the Head of Delegated Client Invoicing with any other tasks and assignments
Identify and create controls around areas of process improvement / efficiencies
What you need to have:
7 -10 years of billing/finance/operations experience with supervisory/management experience
Bachelor Degree: preferred in accounting or finance
Prefer Revport system experience, but not required
Familiarity with billing system/general ledger system/Salesforce data flow a plus
Must have strong math, communication, and organizational skills
Confident, professional demeanor and team player attitude are a must
