Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, build irrigation layouts, and make necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions that support overall garden health.
- Provide recommendations for lawn care and landscape enhancements based on observations during maintenance visits.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping and irrigation work.
- Experience in digging, building, and irrigating landscapes effectively.
- A background in lawn care or gardening is advantageous.
