Irrigation Technician Benefits/Perks:
Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $23.00 - $27.00/hr (depending on experience)
Opportunity to earn commission (depending on task and experience)

Irrigation Technician Requirements:
- Reports to work on time and works full shifts, Monday – Friday with some Saturdays required
- Is a willing learner, a self-starter and multi-tasker with attention to detail
- Is able to communicate with supervisors, peers and the public in a professional manner
- Willing to work in all weather conditions as job requires
- Is able to periodically perform 24-hour on-call shifts
- Assists with snow clearing services
Irrigation Technician Position Description:
The Irrigation Technician must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigation
systems to include: wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pulling
pipe; installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc.;
operating equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers,
subcontractors, architects, etc. The Irrigation Technician has a clear understanding of
how to maximize water conservation services in order to protect this irreplaceable
resource. Requires minimal supervision and conducts all jobs in a safe manner and, if
necessary, directing a crew of one other employee. The Irrigation Technician must also
attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job
while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere.
Irrigation Technician Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and be insurable with reliable transportation to work
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in the irrigation service field preferred
- Able to lift 75 pounds without assistance
- Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) preferred
- CPR Certification preferred
