IT Analyst II
Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Analysis – Consistently solves new complex problems without assistance. Formulates solutions that consistently exceed customer expectations. Work independently and with applications and technical teams to design specifications, document and deploy automated solutions to address systemic operational inefficiencies; and as needed in response to Audit comments/requirements. Understands components of systems and the impact that new designs may have on current state. Recommends potential solutions for business problems to other analysts and IS management. Represent IAM in cross-departmental meetings regarding Identity Access Management across facilities, disciplines and domains.
Maintenance and Support – Provides scheduled 24 x 7 on-call and support coverage with some assistance in resolving problems. Fully support access in assigned applications. Peer review of support is considered timely and accurate. Plans for updates to system(s) and application access. Provides access support documentation for future issue resolution.
Technical Tasks – Proficient with access administration tools, including updates, and utilizes newest features efficiently. Understands the technical architecture of supported systems. Competent in migrating data between environments, creation of profiles, panels and roles and interface record maintenance. Applies identity access management standards, RBAC principles to comply with Audit requirements. Work with customers, as well as technical and applications teams to troubleshoot and resolve access issues. Identifies and develops mitigations for potential impacts across multiple systems. Breadth of technical experience results in solutions to complex problems. Peers seek out for technical review and direction.
(10%) Project/Task Management – Applies basic project management concepts and established procedures for each application/system supported. Builds, monitors and adjusts project plans with assistance. Recognizes impact within the department supported and IS and takes action. Work results in milestones met on time and quality deliverables. Plans, executes and documents system and process test scenarios to meet project requirements and specifications such as billing, interfaces, systems integration, etc. Resolves testing discrepancies and performance concerns prior to implementation. Assembles and coordinates appropriate resources to ensure participation from stakeholders and their acceptance of outcomes. Manages multiple tasks concurrently.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Working knowledge of the information technology field is required, with access management experience preferred.
