The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Sorts dried articles according to type
- Folds and places items in appropriate storage area
- Sorts torn and stained articles
- Sorts and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry requisitions
- Soaks contaminated articles and processes in de-staining cycle
- Clean lint traps and weeps laundry room
- Loads articles into washer, driers and ironers
- Starts machine that automatically washes and rinses articles
- Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successfully into the driers for measured time cycles
- Ensure that hotel linen is properly folded as directed and accurate inventory is kept
- Must properly utilize laundry equipment as needed
- All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret OSHA required Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
