Part-Time Janitor – City of Macomb, IL
The City of Macomb is hiring a Regular Part-Time Janitor (Grade 12) to help maintain cleanliness across multiple city buildings, including the Police Department/E-911 Center, City Hall, Public Works, and the Transit Center.
Position Details:
- Hourly Pay: $16.71 - $22.28
- Duties Include:
- Cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and furniture
- Emptying trash, sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping
- Ordering and restocking cleaning supplies
- Occasional tasks like waxing floors and shampooing carpets
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- 1-2 years of building maintenance experience
- Physical ability to bend, climb, and operate cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
