JOB COACH/ EMPLOYEE TRAINER
SCHEDULE:
We will work with your hours. You let us know how

SUPERVISES:
You will communicate with the local Job Placement specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Job Coach provides employment support to customers with
disabilities at the job site. Job Coach will need to assist customers in
maintaining hygiene, attendance, communication, working with co-workers, and
getting along with management. The Job Coach will also make sure the customer
they are supervising is performing their job to the best of their
ability. This will include teaching, sharpening and encouraging the use
soft skills and techniques to retain long term employment.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Collaborate with employees and supervisors to ensure positive and
- successful working relationships are maintained.
- Assists employees with their arrival and departure from work, transportation needs, and learning the worksite's rules and procedures.
- Follows proper procedures when addressing behavioral concerns or issues in the workplace.protocols and maintain quality standards in their work.develop skills needed for job success. Provides ongoing support by answering questions and offering guidance throughout their shifts. Attendance, work schedules, performance, interactions, and personal conduct. performance, incident reports, health and safety assessments, timecards, evaluations, wage reviews, customer and supervisor's signatures and other necessary paperwork as required by Change in Motion (in compliance withTexas state regulations).

- Maintains daily documentation, including notes on behavior,
- Carries out additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One or more years of experience working with people with
- disabilities (preferred)
- Familiar in using Microsoft Word or willing to learn.
- Great communication, problem solving and customer service
- skills.
- Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction,
- multiplication, and division to prepare and send invoices to Chang in Motionfor payroll.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
CERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED:
The following licenses or certificates will be required by The
State of Texas.
Job Coach certification, Online at the University of North
Texas. (Reimbursement of course fee provided upon completion)
Valid Driver's License or reliable ride to various locations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following
physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
- Maneuvering to and around equipment
- Bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
- Transporting to various locations within customer site
- Utilizing keyboard.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed at a variety of locations. Employees will work
with clients/employees with behavioral, visual, audio, and physical challenges.
