Junior Controller
Location: Santa Ana, CA (On-Site, Full-Time)

Based in Santa Ana, we specialize in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Controller to support our financial operations and help drive growth with sound accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accuracy in QuickBooks Desktop
- Process progressive billing and track customer invoicing milestones
- Review and reconcile time cards, including prevailing wage compliance
- Complete A/R and A/P responsibilities
- Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly financial close activities
- Collaborate with operations on job costing and margin tracking
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and process controls
Qualifications:
Must Haves
- 5 years of accounting experience in a service, maintenance, or project-based equipment sales business
- Strong work experience of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
· Proven experience handling:
o Accounts payable and receivable
o General ledger and journal entries
o Bank and credit card reconciliations
o Month-end and year-end close processes
· Familiarity with job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, and project-based accounting
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing company
Preferred but Not Required
- Prior experience supporting field service teams or coordinating with service dispatch/FSM tools
- Exposure to financial reporting for leadership or ownership
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Experience with sales tax tracking, payroll coordination, and external CPA/audit prep

- Reliable transportation to our Santa Ana office; in-office work required Monday through Friday

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
