JUMP GUARD
JOB DESCRIPTION
Jump Guards maintain safety for customers by overseeing the entire area and enforcing facility policies. Jump Guards must always be aware of their surroundings to ensure a high level of customer service. This manual explains what is expected from Jump Guards and details the daily operational tasks.
MAJOR TASKS
- Supervise the activity on all the courts and attractions at any given time.
- Identify possible dangerous situations and react accordingly to eliminate danger and potential injuries.
- Clean and maintain the facility.
- May be cross trained to work the front counter.
- Other duties as assigned
DUTIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Always pay attention to the jumpers in designated area or court.
- If customers goes into a court or an attraction that is unattended, you must follow and monitor them.
- Do not be distracted by other employees. Jump guards should never be in the front to distract the POS staff.
- Jump Guards must spread out to monitor the court area.
- Always ensure customer safety by coaching customers on court rules.

- If an injury occurs, follow the procedure in HANDLING A CUSTOMER’S INJURIES section.
- Referee Dodgeball games and adhere to, and enforce, the Dodgeball Court rules.
- Please refer to the Dodgeball Court Rules in the Court Rules section.
- Jumps Guards must use a whistle when refereeing.
- Operate premium attractions such as the sky ride and ropes course.
- Complete and log tasks on cleaning checklist for each shift (i.e. opening or closing).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $8.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
