Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a some background in various areas of law, including real estate, personal injury, bankruptcy, civil litigation and more. This role requires a proactive individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who is interested in growing a law firm in addition to negotiating and litigating cases and providing legal research and support. The Associate Attorney will be provided with close support, guidance and training to represent clients and run a successful law practice. We will consider newly admitted attorneys.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in personal injury and collection cases.
- Litigate cases in court, presenting evidence and arguments.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case progress and answer inquiries.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Experience or interest in law firm management and technology.
- Exceptional legal research abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual caseloads effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
