Based in the Pacific Northwest, we partner with suppliers nationwide to deliver top-tier elevator equipment and components to companies involved in elevator construction, modernization, and repair across North America.
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. In this role you will work with our Lead Estimator creating proposals for projects covering North America. Unique proposals have included National Landmarks, Zoos, Spacex, Airports and other interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to develop precise cost estimates.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
- Maintain and update a database of cost information and historical data.
- Assist in preparing proposals and competitive bids for potential projects.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to elevator systems.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Some experience in estimating but not mandatory.
- Ability to review and interpret specifications and drawings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
