What does a Junior Traffic Manager do at Hogarth?
The Junior Traffic Manager is responsible for project managing linguist network for the Retail Marketing division of a tech-client. Traffic works very closely with both the client and the agency’s network. This person needs to engage with cross-functional teams of producers to ensure work is delivered on time, to standard and within budget. Key requirements include an ability to multitask, communicate clearly and consistently, negotiate priorities and deadlines, manage internal and external expectations.
Primary tasks include organizing and coordinating matrices, distributing workload, tracking progress of projects and monitoring delivery KPI’s and metrics. Excellent communication is required with all stakeholders and our talent network, with whom you will need to build a strong relationship.
Responsibilities
Network Management
- Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, SOW and SLAs of the account
- Coordinate weekly status and project kick off meetings internally and externally
- Create a balanced work schedule and ensure work is of high standards and delivered on time
- Flag any potential team issues to the line manager and be actively involved in finding a solution
- Highlight and resolve quality control issues with the linguist network
- Support technical issues and look for resolution in a timely manner
Project & Account Management
- Coordinate and ensure all parties follow the agreed workflows and manage them through the process
- Work alongside and support client producers when briefing and tracking projects through to completion
- Ensure that trackers and matrices are updated at all times and in line with production criteria
- Monitor timelines and manage client expectations
- Monitor budget, utilization and flag potential issues
- Monitor internal workflows and identify areas for improvement
- Global resource planning
- Ensure account delivers consistently against all contractual obligations
- Support training implementation for team members to ensure their adherence to processes and workflow
Client Management
- Co-ordinate between all relevant parties: Hogarth team, client, cross-functional teams and network, globally
- Set and manage client expectations for deliverables and timeframes
- Understand and work under the confidentiality policy
- Build strong, trusting relationships with all key client stakeholders
Finance Management
- Quarterly planning
- Regular budget spend reports – monitor and analyze progression of spends
- Monthly financial reconciliation
- Ensure full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
Requirements
- Project Management/Traffic background in preferably within a localization environment
- Experience managing high volume, multi-market projects
- Ability to have a flexible approach to working hours with a commitment to working some weekends and after/night hours to support global business operations.
- Experience testing large scale marketing websites beneficial
- Proven project and client management skills
- Self-driven, organized with an eye for detail
- Proficient with macOS and content management tools
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in high-pressure situations and tight time frames
- A hands-on, can do approach to solving problems
At Hogarth California, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $25 to $46/hr. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
