Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and safely while providing excellent service to our guests.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Support the catering team by preparing food items for events and special occasions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stocking supplies.
- Participate in training sessions related to food handling, safety, and kitchen procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department, catering, or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the food industry.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 50 per week
