Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Handle and store food in accordance with food safety standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, cookware and utensils
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knife skills for food preparation
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Proper training will be provided.
