Job Overview
We are a family run restaurant seeking a dedicated and experienced culinary person to fill our Kitchen Supervisor position. We are looking for a professional individual who wants to grow and lead our culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, ensuring that all food preparation and safety standards are met. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for food, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals. We are opening a second restaurant shortly so the chance to grow and advance for the right individual is available.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed during peak service times.
- Address any issues or complaints from staff or customers promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook in a high volume restaurant.
- A love for food and people.
- Have the need to LOVE where you work.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with catering operations is a plus.
- Certification in Food Safety or Culinary Arts is preferred but not required.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
