Silicon Valley Korean School (SVKS), a leading institution in Korean language and cultural education, is seeking passionate and dedicated Korean language instructors for the 2025–2026 academic year and beyond. This on-site school program will start August 15th. The scheduled work days are Saturday mornings from 8:45 am to 1:05 pm PST.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver lessons in-person in accordance with SVKS teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students.
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Participate in meetings and seminars to strengthen teaching skills
- Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date
- Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Native written and spoken proficiency in the Korean language.
- One or more year of teaching experience is required.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience. Teaching credential preferred.
- Excellent classroom management, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Basic administrative skills, and computer knowledge to deliver lessons, and maintain student records.

Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour
