Position Summary
Krave Gym is seeking a dynamic Head Coach/Manager to lead our coaching team, deliver elite training sessions, drive sales growth, and manage day-to-day gym operations. This role blends performance coaching with leadership, sales, and operational excellence. You’ll be responsible for creating an exceptional athlete experience while growing the business through effective sales and community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the coaching staff to uphold Krave standards in every session.
- Manage scheduling, training, and ongoing education for coaches.
- Foster a positive, team-first culture among coaches and athletes.
Coaching & Athlete Experience
- Coach high-energy TEAM sessions that are safe, effective, and empowering.
- Build strong relationships with athletes to drive retention and results.
- Provide expert guidance on movement, form, and progression.
Sales & Membership Growth
- Own the sales process from lead follow-up to closing memberships.
- Conduct athlete consultations, facility tours, and intro sessions.
- Meet monthly sales targets through inbound leads, referrals, and community outreach.
- Promote and upsell memberships, personal training, supplements, nutrition services, and retail items.
- Track KPIs and conversion rates to continuously optimize the athlete journey.
Operations & Facility Management
- Oversee daily operations including cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory.
- Manage athlete check-ins, billing issues, and basic administrative tasks.
- Ensure Krave Gym runs smoothly and maintains an exceptional standard of excellence.
Community & Business Development
- Collaborate with the leadership team on local marketing efforts and events.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses, schools, and community partners.
- Represent Krave at community events, pop-ups, and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of coaching experience in group fitness or strength & conditioning.
- 1+ years in a leadership, management, or sales role preferred.
- Proven sales experience and ability to close leads effectively.
- Certified in NASM, NSCA, ACE, ISSA, CF-L1 or similar (preferred).
- CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain).
