Position Title: Labor & Employment Associate (Junior to Mid-Level)
Location: Orange County, CA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified junior to mid-level associate (2–4 years of experience) to join our dynamic Labor & Employment practice in Orange County. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and prior experience in employment law litigation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated labor & employment matters in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle labor and employment law litigation, including:
- Class actions and PAGA claims
- Single-plaintiff litigation
- Conduct fact investigations and provide legal counseling on employment matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage discovery and participate in depositions.
- Support clients with compliance, risk management, and workplace policies.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- 2–4 years of large law firm experience in labor & employment law.
- Experience with class/PAGA action litigation and employment counseling strongly preferred.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Active membership in the California Bar is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $225,000 – $310,000 (final salary commensurate with experience, expertise, and market factors).
