Job Summary – Technician II (Formulation - CPF):
Responsible for formulating custom oligonucleotides based on customer specifications. Responsibilities include quantification, final packaging, and quality control (QC) sampling of the finished products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately operates automated and manual lab equipment, including performing limited maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Utilizes custom software packages to complete assigned tasks and generate final products.
- Applies stoichiometry to convert measurement units and prepare custom solutions.
- Translates order requirements into specific steps to formulate oligos according to customer specifications.
- Performs quantification and QC sampling of oligos.
- Evaluates QC data with accuracy and makes pass/fail decisions for oligos.
- Ensures all products meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Maximizes use of automation in all applicable processes.
- Continuously incorporates new products and processes into daily workflow.
- Strictly adheres to safety regulations, laboratory SOPs, and contamination control protocols.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $21.92 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
